About Gabe

Gabriel is a Limited Licensed Psychologist specializing in children and adolescents.  He also works with adults in individual and marital therapy. He has worked at Hope Network of Grand Rapids, assisting those with emotional, physical and mental limitations. He also taught at the Universty level for eight years in undergraduate and graduate programs. Gabe maintains a private practice in Grand Rapids, Michigan.

With over ten years experience as a clinician, Gabe specializes in child and adolescent assessment and is currently serving as private practitioner working with a broad spectrum of clients. Among his areas of expertise are ADD/ADHD, childhood assessment, depression, anxiety and neuro therapy.  

Gabe is a practical, interactive, solution-focused therapist. His treatment approach is to provide support and practical feedback to help clients resolve current problems and long-standing patterns. He incorporates a blend of conventional and alternative approaches, drawing upon a variety of styles and techniques to incorporate what will be most helpful for each client. With sensitivity and compassion, he works with each client to help them build on their strengths to identify and achieve life goals.

Education: Gabe has a bachelors degree in psychology from Cornerstone University and received his Masters in Counseling Psychology from Western Michigan University.  Gabe currently completed his course work at Wheaton College's doctoral program in their Clinical Psychology department. 

Additional Training: The ADD Centre, Toronto, Canada for Neuropsychological Asssessment for ADD/ADHD.

License, Certifications & Awards: Gabe is licensed by the State of Michigan.
