About Kelly

Kelly is a Limited Licensed Psychologist specializing in anxiety and family psychotherapy.  She maintains a private practice in Grand Rapids, Michigan. Kelly is married and has four children, three dogs (two of which are therapy dogs) and two cats. 

With over twenty-five years experience as a clinician, and a graduate of Western Michigan University, Kelly specializes in individual therapy with children and adolescents. She is currently serving as private practitioner working with a broad spectrum of clients. Among her areas of expertise are treatment of, grief/loss, relationship difficulties, anxiety, depression, behavioral difficulties and family therapy. 

Kelly is a practical, interactive, solution-focused therapists. Her treatment approach is to provide support and practical feedback to help clients resolve current problems. She incorporates a blend of conventional and alternatives approaches, drawing upon many styles and techniques to incorporate what will be most helpful for each client.  Her strengths are to assess each person's needs and tailor therapy to meet the client's individual goals. 

Education: Kelly has a bachelors degree in psychology from Cornerstone University and received her Masters in Counseling Psychology from Western Michigan University.  

Additional Training: The ADD Centre, Toronto, Canada for Neuropsychological Asssessment for ADD/ADHD.

License, Certifications & Awards: Kelly is licensed by the State of Michigan as a Limited Licensed Psychologist and supervised by a fully licensed psychologist, Bruce Fowler, Psy.D.  A Michigan limited license permits practice under the supervision of a Michigan licensed psychologist.
